Successful Bilateral Hip Replacement (Patient able to walk pain free) Patient Mr. Manoj 35 year old was suffering from pain in both hip joints with difficulty in walking. For last two & half years for this he consulted at multiple places but could not got diagnosed of his illness.

Some time back he contacted Dr.C.S.Chaturvedi, Senior Orthopedic Surgeon in Jaipur & he was diagnosed as a case of Avascular Necrosis of Femur Head on both sides.

When asked in details, I came to know that he is Chronic Alcoholic for long time which has resulted to this problem in both hip joints. After thorough examination he was advised Bilateral Hip Replacement Surgery but because of his poor condition he was not in position to get it done.

For last two & half months he is totally bedridden, hence he explained his condition to me on phone.

Looking to his poor condition I had a thought to help him for this. I contacted few charitable mind people & got Rs. One Lac collected for his treatment. My self & Prem Niketan Hospital did free service.

At last he was operated on 28.07.2020 by Dr. C.S.Chaturvedi & his team. Simultaneous Bilateral Total Hip Replacement was done which is itself is quite difficult surgery, in routine only one joint is operated at a time. During operation standard quality of drugs & un-cemented implant of (Depuy Company) was used on both sides.

Post-operative recovery of patient was good & he got rid of pain & is able to walk without any difficulty.

After operation patient & his relatives praised Dr. C.S.Chaturvedi & his team & Prem Niketan Hospital.

Main point was to do Bilateral Hip Replacement at a time & in view of Dr. C.S.Chaturvedi it was first operation of its kind done in Jaipur. At the end Dr. C.S.Chaturvedi conveyed his message to help poor people in future also.
